About Jagged Horizon
Jagged Horizon perfectly describes an area to the east of Chachapoyas that Nick Fletcher and Rob Dover first hiked in 1997. It is an area of intense beauty and solitude – a harsh wilderness on the edge of the north eastern Andes. The rocky mountains reach up to 4000m, and between are lakes and bogs. Warm air rushes up from the Amazon plain just to the east and clouds quickly form changing the weather in minutes. That is why we love these mountains, and over various trips we have discovered more reasons to return.

You wouldn´t think they were 40 and not 20 year old students. When ever will they grow up.
Hopefully never! I’m 14 years older and I’ve made it a mission to act in my 20′s. Go Rob and Nick!
Hello Rob and Nick! I hope your adventure was a success! Did you found a lot of Chachapoyas evidences in the cloudy mountains? I am sure the beans were delicious after all the same rice…
We are at home now, and our Peru trip was fantastic! Thank you Rob for your presence.

Hello,
Yes a total success. There is going to have to be another trip at some point. The surprises around each corner and in the next valley dont seem to end.
Best wishes to you all,
Rob
